I LOVE cinema ─ Street Dance 3D

I LOVE cinema

Street Dance 3D

Today I went to the cinema to see the preview of Street Dance in 3D
which is a British dance film. The film is directed by Max Giwa and
Dania Pasquini. George Sampson makes his debut appearance on the big
screen along with Diversity and Flawless from Britain’s Got Talent. The
soundtrack includes N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah, Lightbulb Thieves, Chipmunk
and Cheryl Cole.

The film is about a dance crew who are set to take part in the Street
Dance Championships. They are looking for a rehearsal space and they
are forced to work with ballet dancers from the Royal Dance School in
exchange for rehearsal space. They have to allow the ballet dancers to
join their dance crew and take part in the competition.

Overall I thought that this was a good family film which i think
children and adults will enjoy. I didn’t really feel that the 3D effects
were needed as they didn’t really add anything to the film. I think
that 3D tends to work best with animated films such as Avatar or
Coraline. I thought that the film had a fairly predictable plot but I
still enjoyed it. I also thought that the dance groups in the film were
very impressive- especially Flawless from Britain’s Got Talent. I would
recommend this film for families.

I enjoyed this film a lot considering that it’s not normally the kin of film that I would watch- a feel good family film.

Film Rating: 7.5/10
